| Hi everyone, Thanks El for putting this together. I see we have all YA writers here. I have a fondness for writing MG so I hope that is not an issue, but I also have a YA romantic fantasy on the back burner as well as a PB series....my brain is also bubbling over with too many voices and plot lines. My two main projects right now are a MG Adventure/Fantasy/Humor called Hero and Villain as well as a chapter book series called Glitterbug. I am having a blast experiencing all the twists and turns of the writing world and love learning new things to improve. I am 34 year old mama/wife and have a beautiful little girl and hubby that makes me laugh everyday. I am working on building a freelance writing career as well as my fiction writing and would love to take some writing courses. Prior to motherhood and focusing on my writing, I worked in healthcare and am a nurse but currently not in the field. Happy Writing and I look forward to this journey! Charlie Eve

| Hey hey!
While everyone is YA focused, I don't see why folks who only dabble in it shouldn't be welcomed. MG isn't TOO far off from YA. It could be considered young young adult, lol. Not sure how many people do the picturebook thing, but I hope you'll stick with us! |

| Welcome Charlie Eve! It seems that a number of us are 30+ mothers I'm 32 and I have three year old twin boys. They're adorable, but it sometimes gets a little tough. The first two years especially - well, all three years really, but it's getting easier now and they play together a lot (and fight a lot, too!). I do my writing while they're at kindergarten and at night. On the weekends I get withdrawal symptoms and my fingers start itching. Thank goodness for my husband who sometimes takes them out to play It's great having you here, Tessa |

| El - obviously picture books are just young, young, young, young young adult. Also, I think I love the title 'Glitterbug'. |

| Hi Charlie Eve, nice to meet you (and cool name!). My main character in my PB/Chapter Book series is Charlie as well... I think we've got a lot in common - look forward to working with you on your chapter book and PBs if you're interested. There's not too many chapter book writers out there. I love the title of yours Talk soon, Rach PS - Thanks for following along with my blog |

| Hi Yep, another mother in her 30s here. *raises hand* I'm in the boat with you about having so many people, plots and voices in my head. Which is difficult when you have little voices screeching at you outside your head;-) I sometimes find myself on my computer, eyes burning, fingers missing the keys and my husband comes in and gives me the look. Me: Hey, what are you doing up? Husband: Getting ready for work. Me: Oh, wow, is it 5:00?! Sorry. *gives sheepish grin to the judgy hubby* The voices in my head told me to do it! Lol! It's the only way to write in peace sometimes |
